Reuse an Empty Lipstick Tube

If you have a lipstick tube that has run out of product, you can reuse it by filling it with liquid using a syringe and spatula. Rinsing the tube in a tub of salt or hot water for ten minutes will remove any residue or shine from the sides. You can then reuse the tube to hold lipstick.

If the lipstick has leaked out of the tube, you can roll up a thin piece of felt and slip it into the tube. Alcohol pads or band aids also work well as an outer layer. You can also reuse the empty lipstick tube by filling it with other essential items, like cosmetics or personal care products.
